I finally have a few minutes to tell you the impact our Clarity session has had on my strategic planning for Workforce Acceleration. Being in HR, I have struggled for over 5 years to differentiate myself from my competition in a way that is compelling and clear. I have tried many different approaches, placing focus on one service or another, but never quite seemed to answer the single most important question - why should my clients buy from me?
Well, in one Clarity Package Session, I found the answer.
I walked away from our work together with a solid plan and message - plus, fresh outlook on my business. During our time, it became clear that it's my process that differentiates me from everyone else. For years I have been trying to highlight my services, only to find all I really needed to do was differentiate myself by figuring out what piece of the puzzle I do better than anyone else in the world!
I want to share a benefit I have received already. I was at a networking event the other evening and I had to stand up and tell over 100 people what I do. Normally I choose one of the HR areas I offer and highlight a benefit of my expertise. This time, I focused on how I apply the Workforce Change Approach Profile TM and the Workforce Mobilization Assessment TM and why these assessments make what I do different than any other HR professional.
My message was clear and compelling and for perhaps the first time, I felt confident, professional, and concise in my message. Following my presentation, I have been receiving phone calls and emails telling me how well I spoke and that I really got my point across. I know this is only a small benefit, but I was shocked with the major impact the Essential Message approach has had in less than a week

Your book helped tremendously in providing the clarity to find the right name. It was especially interesting that you addressed the area most people have missed…How you shouldn’t feel comfortable about the name at first-and that’s a good thing.
It took about 3 days, and my final choice feels strange- but I’m confident it’s a winner. In fact, since I have the structure of the name right, I feel like the “name proper” could almost be anything, and it would be OK.
